Shakir joined Geocapital in 1999. He researches investments in the communications and networking industries. Prior to Geocapital, he worked as a strategy consultant for the Monitor Group and as an information technology consultant with Coopers & Lybrand. Shakir holds an MSc in Information Systems and a BSc in Accounting and Finance, both from the London School of Economics.
